Sia said it has acquired Seven Consulting, an Australian management consulting firm specializing in business transformation, in a move that expands its footprint in Australia and lifts its local team to around 130 consultants including its existing Perth base. Founded in 2002, Seven Consulting has more than 100 consultants split between Sydney, Melbourne and Manila, and serves major organizations across banking, government, transportation and postal, retail and consumer goods, and energy and utilities. Its client roster includes NAB, Macquarie, ASX, Cuscal, Future Fund, Pepper Money, the Australian Government, the Governments of New South Wales and Victoria, Australia Post, Woolworths, Coles, Coca-Cola, Optus, Adairs and AGL. Sia said the transaction is aligned with the M&A strategy defined with Blackstone and strengthens its global platform by adding program delivery and change management capabilities. The group said Seven Consulting will progressively tap Sia's international reach, global solutions portfolio and expertise in Data & AI (data analytics and artificial intelligence), with the combined business aiming to become a leading AI transformation partner in Australia by helping organizations move from experimentation to enterprise-scale change.
