Ericsson said it repurchased 4,000,000 of its own Class B shares during August 3-7, 2026, at a weighted average price of SEK 96.8656 per share, for a total transaction value of SEK 387,462,250.00. The purchases are part of the company's share buyback program of up to SEK 15,000,000,000, announced on April 16, 2026, and scheduled to run from April 23, 2026, until March 31, 2027, at the latest. Share buybacks typically reduce the number of shares in the market and can support capital returns to shareholders, while Ericsson said the Board of Directors intends to propose to the 2027 Annual General Meeting that repurchased shares be cancelled, except for those needed to meet obligations under share-related incentive programs. The transactions were carried out on Nasdaq Stockholm by Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE on Ericsson's behalf under MAR (EU market abuse rules) and the Safe Harbour Regulation (EU buyback framework). After the latest purchases, Ericsson held 95,169,316 Class B shares in treasury. Ericsson said it has 3,371,351,735 shares outstanding in total, comprising 261,755,983 Class A shares and 3,109,595,752 Class B shares.
