Corma raises $60 million seed round to build defensive AI for cybersecurity

Cybersecurity startup Corma has raised a $60 million seed round as it pushes an artificial intelligence model built for defense rather than attack. The company, founded in 2025 and based in Tel Aviv and San Francisco, said Sequoia Capital, Khosla Ventures and Coatue joined the financing. Its first AI model was deployed six weeks ago at Fortune 100 and 500 companies spanning healthcare, financial services, energy, critical infrastructure and retail. Unlike many current cybersecurity models trained by groups such as OpenAI, Anthropic and Google for offensive use, Corma said its system is designed to analyze logs and audit data, identify threats across huge volumes of events, and maintain a consistent strategy over thousands of actions.
