Super Micro Computer reported a sharp jump in fiscal fourth-quarter profit as sales nearly doubled, underscoring strong demand for its server business. The company said profit for the quarter ended June 30 rose to $1.17 billion, or $1.62 a share, from $195.2 million, or 31 cents a share, in the same period a year earlier.
