Bio-Techne beat Wall Street expectations for fourth-quarter revenue as growth in its research-focused Protein Sciences business and its diagnostics and spatial biology operations lifted sales. Quarterly revenue rose to $321.2 million, above analysts' average estimate of $314.7 million, while adjusted earnings were 52 cents per share, matching expectations. The company said Protein Sciences, its largest segment supplying proteins, antibodies and research reagents, generated $231.2 million in revenue, up 2.1% from a year earlier. Revenue in Diagnostics and Spatial Biology, which sells spatial biology products, diagnostic tests and laboratory quality-control products, increased 0.5% to $90.1 million. Bio-Techne is also in the process of being acquired by Germany's Merck KGaA in a deal valued at about $11.3 billion including debt. CEO Kim Kelderman said the company ended fiscal 2026 with improved performance and solid execution across the business.
