Miden plans to launch USDCx, a privacy-enhanced stablecoin, alongside its mainnet rollout later this month, CoinDesk reported. The zero-knowledge proof-based blockchain network said the token will be issued natively on Miden and backed 1:1 by USDC deposited into Circle's xReserve smart contracts. USDCx is designed to keep transactions private by default while still allowing selective disclosure to auditors, regulators, or counterparties when required, an approach aimed at combining onchain privacy with compliance needs.
