U.S. stocks rebounded in the 12th session, led by semiconductor shares, with the Nasdaq Composite posting the strongest percentage gain among the three major indexes. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index, or SOX (semiconductor stock benchmark), surged 3.10%, helping drive the broader recovery after the Dow had fallen 184.13 points in the previous session. Lower Treasury yields also supported technology shares, with the U.S. 10-year yield down 0.02 percentage points to 4.67% and the 2-year yield down 0.02 percentage points to 4.19%. In other markets, Nikkei 225 futures on the Osaka Exchange jumped 850 points to 68,510, a move seen as a tailwind for Tokyo equities, while gold futures climbed 0.82% as demand for safe-haven assets continued.
