Koscom and NH Investment & Securities have signed a memorandum of understanding on tokenized securities, setting up joint work on infrastructure and business development as South Korea prepares a legal framework for STOs (security token offerings). The companies plan to verify a shared STO platform, coordinate operational areas including issuance and account management, and explore new models tied to digital assets and the tokenization of existing securities. The agreement also covers a joint response to regulatory and market changes, underscoring how financial firms are positioning for a more formalized market structure for tokenized assets.
