DeepSeek will introduce peak and off-peak API pricing from 00:00 Beijing time on Aug. 17, marking a shift to time-based billing that is commonly used to spread demand across computing capacity. Under the new schedule, off-peak prices will be half the peak rate. For DeepSeek V4 Pro, the peak-period output price will rise to 27 yuan per million tokens, while peak hours are set at 9:00-12:00 and 14:00-18:00 Beijing time. All other hours will be treated as off-peak periods.
