Wix faces securities fraud class action over AI claims, Sept. 22, 2026 deadline

Wix.com Ltd. has been hit with a securities fraud class action lawsuit on behalf of investors who purchased or acquired its securities between February 19, 2025 and May 12, 2026. Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, LLP said the case was filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois as Yappi v. Wix.com Ltd., No. 26-cv-08852 (N.D. Ill.), and that investors have until September 22, 2026 to seek lead plaintiff status. The complaint alleges Wix made materially misleading statements or omitted key facts about its AI product offerings, including their competitiveness and performance relative to rivals, the costs of developing and promoting them, and the resulting commercial and financial benefits. The filing argues those alleged misstatements left the company’s positive statements about its business, operations and prospects without a reasonable basis during the class period.
