LimX Dynamics has confidentially filed for an initial public offering on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that could raise as much as $300 million, marking a rapid ascent for the Shenzhen-based humanoid robotics company founded in January 2022 as Shenzhen Zhuji Power Technology Co., Ltd. The company was valued at roughly $2.21 billion, or about 15 billion yuan, in a $200 million pre-IPO funding round completed in July 2026, and has raised about $400 million across funding rounds over a six-month period. LimX makes the Luna and Oli humanoid robots and develops COSA, an agentic operating system designed for embodied AI (AI tied to physical machines). Founder Will Zhang has said the IPO is important for long-term access to capital as the company’s core technology nears maturity. The listing plan comes as investment in China’s humanoid robotics sector reached 47.09 billion yuan, roughly $6.95 billion, in Q2 2026, more than double the previous quarter, underscoring strong investor appetite. LimX is also pursuing overseas expansion, aiming to ship thousands of units internationally, with early target markets including the Middle East and South Korea.
