The stash was initially worth $2,346, when Bitcoin was priced at $11.07 per coin, and at the cited price of $64,761 the position would represent a 584,725% return if fully sold. The owner of the wallet remains unknown. The transfer moved funds from an old P2PKH wallet (legacy Bitcoin address format) to an unmarked Bech32 wallet (newer Bitcoin address format), where the coins were received in multiple batches and then consolidated. The address has not been linked to any known entities. The movement comes as some long-term holders may be shifting assets after a Coldcard vulnerability was tied to the theft of nearly 2,000 BTC, though no direct connection to this wallet has been established.
