Taiwan-listed ADRs mirrored the decline, with TSMC's ADR down 4.07%, ASE Technology Holding's ADR off 8.77%, and United Microelectronics' ADR down 5.38%. In derivatives, Taiwan index futures fell 561 points in overnight trading to 44,527, and August futures opened down 677 points at 44,411. Analysts said the market is entering a technically sensitive phase, with support focused on the 10-day and quarterly moving averages. They highlighted two near-term catalysts: the Jackson Hole Global Central Bank Symposium starting on the 27th and NVIDIA's earnings due early on the 27th Taiwan time. Market watchers said Taiwan's broader medium- to long-term bullish structure has not yet been broken, but near-term trading may remain volatile and range-bound unless turnover expands enough to clear resistance near 46,000.
