Nikkei 225 opens 0.71% higher at 65,787.53

The Nikkei 225 rose 461.11 points, or 0.71%, to 65,787.53 at the open on Aug. 20, Thursday, according to Gate data. South Korea’s KOSPI opened 3.2% higher, with SK Hynix gaining more than 7% and Samsung Electronics rising over 3%.
