CleanSpark Inc. (NASDAQ:CLSK) shares were up 3.51% at $12.08 on Thursday, according to Benzinga Pro, as Bitcoin’s rally lifted the broader crypto market. The move follows the Treasury Department’s decision to increase its bond-buyback operations, setting a $4 billion minimum for each long-dated purchase when the program begins in September, twice the previous minimum. By retiring less-traded older bonds and financing the purchases through short-term bills, the program may reduce longer-term yields. The 30-year yield has retreated toward 5.2% after reaching its highest level since 2007, while the 10-year yield has moved closer to 4.65% and the dollar has weakened by roughly 0.8%. Lower yields and a softer dollar can encourage investors to seek higher returns in assets such as crypto. CleanSpark remains sensitive to Bitcoin’s price despite steering its business away from pure mining and toward AI infrastructure because it held $814.9 million worth of Bitcoin and $202.6 million in cash as of June 30, 2026.
