Bitget will change the funding rate interval for the ONGUSDT perpetual futures trading pair from every four hours to every one hour at 01:00 UTC+0 on Aug. 21, 2026. The adjustment is intended to improve alignment between perpetual futures prices and spot index prices. The maximum funding rate is set at +2.0000%/-2.0000% for the hourly funding periods listed from 01:00 through 04:00 UTC+0, with further times covered in the exchange's detailed schedule. Bitget said it may reschedule the adjustment if factors such as high market volatility require it and will issue a separate announcement if that happens. The exchange also reserved the right to modify, amend or retract the announcement at any time, for any reason and at its sole discretion, without prior notice. Traders were advised to review updated funding rates before placing orders and remain aware of potential trading risks.
