Strategy’s Bitcoin holdings returned to profitability for the first time since July after Bitcoin rose for five consecutive days and broke above $78,000. The company holds 840,447 Bitcoin at an average purchase price of $75,385. At a Bitcoin price of $78,400, the position was worth about $65.89 billion, compared with $63.36 billion invested, producing an estimated paper profit of $2.53 billion and a return of about 4%. The holdings’ value changed by roughly $15.5 billion over the past six weeks. Since May, Strategy has sold 6,948 Bitcoin for about $432.5 million, while raising $334 million through MSTR share sales. The company used those funds for preferred-stock dividends, STRC repurchases and dollar reserves, which currently stand at $6.7 billion.
