CZ said at the 2026 Wyoming Blockchain Symposium on Aug. 26 that Trump had mentioned Hyperliquid and that CFTC Chair Mike Selig would seek a path for the platform to enter the U.S. market. CZ described a successful, compliant entry as a major positive for the broader crypto industry. He said some users choose Hyperliquid because they can access it through a wallet without a traditional account or KYC process. If the platform can operate compliantly in the United States, CZ said it could open the door for perpetual contracts and other decentralized services, with wider benefits for decentralized products, its portfolio companies and international centralized exchanges through greater liquidity and more competitive pricing. He said the crypto market remains far from saturated, meaning increased competition would be less important than expanding the overall market.
