BlackRock’s IBIT recorded $294 million in positive Bitcoin holdings netflow on August 25, extending a seven-session streak that accumulated $1.824 billion since August 17. Daily netflow rose from $174 million on August 17 and $147 million on August 18 to $240 million on August 19, then reached a streak-high $498 million on August 20. IBIT recorded another $241 million on August 21, $230 million on August 24 and $294 million on August 25. Netflow stayed above $140 million in every session and averaged about $261 million per trading day. The four sessions from August 20 through August 25 generated $1.263 billion, or roughly 69% of the total. The cumulative figure was 3.7 times the strongest single-day reading, indicating sustained accumulation rather than one exceptional session. With Bitcoin trading near $80,000 during the latest part of the run, IBIT has returned to the center of the institutional Bitcoin narrative, with consistency across seven consecutive trading sessions providing the key signal.
