He said he spent more than 10 hours writing the post over two nights while in Bhutan, and that it represented an attempt to express his confusion rather than a planned marketing campaign. Sun said he had previously advocated listening to AI 100% and routinely relies on Claude and other AI tools for company work, including decisions involving millions or tens of millions of dollars each day, audits and reviews. This time, however, he disagreed with Claude's advice about the article and described the experience as his first serious doubt about an AI judgment. Sun said his team had warned that the post could affect his professional image, partners and business relationships, but accepted his decision to publish it. He also said lawyers were handling the lawsuit, which he described as his only remaining connection with Jing Tian, while acknowledging that the dispute had affected his work and remained unresolved.
