A Bitcoin address inactive since receiving 10 BTC on June 17, 2011, transferred the coins on August 29, 2026, in block 964,539, according to blockchain data shared by Galaxy Research. The holdings were worth approximately $777,000 at the time, compared with an estimated acquisition price of about $15 per BTC. Galaxy calculated an estimated gain of 503,364%, or more than 503,000%, based on the change in market value. The coins were sent to another wallet, not an identified cryptocurrency exchange, so the transaction does not establish that the holder sold them. The owner and reason for the transfer remain unknown. The movement follows other long-dormant wallet activity, including a Bitcoin wallet inactive for about 8.6 years that moved roughly $383 million in July and an Ethereum wallet associated with HashFlare that moved about $18.5 million after approximately 3.5 years in June.
