At 9:20 p.m. EDT, Bitcoin was down 0.35% at $77,765.29, Ethereum had fallen 1.41% to $2,420.87, XRP was down 2.78% at $1.35, Solana declined 3.33% to $101.66 and Dogecoin lost 3.64% to $0.08190. Bitcoin briefly dropped below $77,000 before recovering some losses, while trading volume rose 48% over 24 hours. Ethereum fell below $2,400 after reaching $2,532 earlier. Nearly $400 million was liquidated, mainly from bullish long positions, while Bitcoin open interest (active futures contracts) decreased 0.83%. The global crypto market capitalization stood at $2.61 trillion, down 0.90%, and the Crypto Fear & Greed Index showed greed sentiment. Union rose 787.07% to $0.08148, Seeker gained 125.59% to $0.02453 and Helium climbed 72.97% to $0.7533 among cryptocurrencies with market capitalizations above $100 million. Stock futures also declined after the U.S. struck Iranian rocket launchers on Larak Island, while Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said they targeted U.S. bases in Jordan. Ali Martinez said whales accumulated nearly $3 billion in Bitcoin over the past week. Michaël van de Poppe said Bitcoin’s liquidity sweep (rapid price move through liquidity levels) at $77,000 was followed by $78,000 becoming hourly support, with $82,700 identified as the next target if Bitcoin clears its final hurdle.
