Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, known as CZ, said the exchange’s $4.3 billion fine was worth accepting as the industry faced pressure. He made the remarks during an interview after attending Bitcoin Asia 2026 in Hong Kong, where he also discussed his autobiography, Binance Life, and his time in prison. Zhao said he completed most of the book’s first draft while incarcerated, despite being limited to 15 at a time during writing sessions.
