Payments on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), a blockchain network for XRP transactions, rose 47.8% to about 658,600 as several activity measures increased simultaneously. Successful transactions climbed 82.4% to 1.6 million, overall transactions rose 59.7% to approximately 2 million, and transactions per ledger reached 99.12, also up 59.7%. Created accounts increased 20.7% to 2,300, while active accounts rose 12.7% to about 14,800. The next near-term milestone is 700,000 payments, requiring about 6.3% growth from the current level; reaching 1 million would require a further 52% increase. Payment volume nevertheless fell 60.8% to about 443.1 million XRP, indicating that average transfer sizes have declined even as payment counts increased. XRP is trading near $1.36 after an August breakout and retracement, with $1.35 testing its 200-day moving average. Holding above that level would preserve the broader bullish reversal structure and could support another move toward $1.45–$1.50, while a breakdown would expose the shorter-term moving average near $1.27. Sustained growth toward 1 million payments would provide stronger evidence that the recent expansion has become durable.
