US gasoline stocks tracked by the American Petroleum Institute rose 0.3 million barrels, contrary to forecasts for a decline. The increase reversed last week’s 3.2 million-barrel drop and slightly eased supply pressure ahead of the weekly EIA (U.S. energy data agency) inventory report.
