Germany’s DAX 40 fell 0.3% to around 25,900, extending its decline into a third session and keeping the index near one-month lows. The continued escalation in attacks between the United States and Iran pushed oil prices higher, raising inflation concerns and increasing expectations of tighter monetary policy. Volkswagen dropped 2.1% after news that it will be removed from the EuroStoxx 50 index on September 21, while BMW and Mercedes-Benz Group each fell more than 1%.
