Bitcoin’s advance has stalled after selling pressure blocked a move through the $83,000-$86,000 range, where Glassnode said long-term holder supply is concentrated. The analytics firm said a short squeeze (rapid buying that forces bearish traders to close positions) pushed BTC above $80,000 on Aug. 19, but the price later fell to around $76,000. When Bitcoin traded near $78,000, the share of supply held at a profit increased to 68% from 65% in May, a development Glassnode said could indicate rising potential selling pressure. It identified $62,000-$65,000 as a key support zone and $83,000-$86,000 as a major resistance zone, while saying short-term rangebound trading may continue.
