The U.S. 10-year yield reached 4.821% overnight, its highest level since November 2023, before retreating to 4.793%, while Japan’s 10-year government bond yield exceeded 3% the previous day for the first time in about 30 years. JB Financial Group gained 6.06% to 32,400 Korean won at 9:53 a.m., with Meritz Financial Group up around 6% and KB Financial, Hana Financial Group, and Woori Financial Group also advancing.
