Germany’s DAX 40 finished Thursday about 0.6% higher at 26,008, ending a three-day losing streak. Gains were led by autos, software and financials as falling global bond yields improved market sentiment, while geopolitical uncertainty continued to support elevated oil prices. Volkswagen climbed 3.3% after reports that it could sell or reduce stakes in around 750 subsidiaries and investments. SAP rose 2.5% after Snowflake issued a stronger revenue outlook. Deutche Telekom added 1.1% following reports that Elliott investment had built a larger stake in an effort to prevent a multi-billion dollar merger with T-Mobile US.
