Sen. Cynthia Lummis said the CLARITY Act would expand Wyoming’s crypto-friendly digital-asset regulatory framework across the United States. The bill is designed to give digital-asset companies clearer rules while separating oversight responsibilities between the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the U.S. securities regulator, and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the U.S. derivatives regulator.
