Bitcoin ETF activity accelerated on September 3, with four major funds posting a combined $683.25 million in positive BTC holdings netflow. BlackRock's IBIT led with $422.75 million, its highest reading since August 20, followed by 21Shares ARKB at about $130 million, Fidelity FBTC at approximately $73.5 million and Grayscale Mini BTC at roughly $57 million. Separately, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded about $730.9 million in market-wide net cash inflows, including roughly $454 million attributed to IBIT, marking the strongest aggregate daily inflow since January 14. Bitcoin later fell below $80,000 after stronger-than-expected U.S. employment data showed 162,000 jobs added in August, compared with expectations of roughly 53,000 to 56,000. Rising Treasury yields and increased expectations for a September Federal Reserve rate hike weighed on the market. The session showed broad-based ETF demand alongside continued sensitivity in Bitcoin's price to interest-rate expectations.
