XRP gained 28.5% in August, its strongest performance for that month in five years, but has since surrendered part of the advance. The token is trading around $1.43, with a market value of about $90.11 billion, down 1.79% over 24 hours but still up roughly 3.5% over the past week as of Sept. 8 at 7:21 p.m. UTC, based on CoinMarketCap data. Resistance at $1.4437-$1.4586 is the immediate technical hurdle; a confirmed break above that range could expose $1.55 and potentially $1.70, while a move below the $1.35-$1.36 support zone could bring further declines. XRP previously fell from about $3.65 in July 2025 to around $0.99 in mid-August, then rebounded more than 60% in several days. The rally later stalled after a flash crash on Aug. 26 linked to the PCE data, leaving the token trading between $1.30 and $1.50 during the first week of September. Daily RSI (Relative Strength Index, a momentum gauge) near 60 indicates buyers remain in control, while weekly RSI has eased to about 53 after reaching overbought levels. Investor demand has also supported XRP through spot ETFs, which recorded $18.96 million in net inflows in the week ending Sept. 4, extending their positive streak to eight weeks. Total net inflows reached about $1.68 billion, while the previous week’s $110.49 million was the largest weekly inflow of 2026.
