Strive increased its SATA variable-rate perpetual preferred equity share count by 921,511 between Aug. 28 and Sept. 4, raising its annualized dividend obligation at the current 13% rate by about $11.98 million to roughly $129.9 million. The company’s cash and cash equivalents also rose by $19.1 million to $202.6 million, leaving static cash-only coverage nearly unchanged at 18.71 months, compared with 18.67 months previously. Strive said it bought 1,375 BTC from Aug. 31 to Sept. 4 at an average price of approximately $79,281 per coin, including fees and expenses, bringing its holdings to 24,531 BTC as of Sept. 4. The coverage calculation excludes operating needs, future financing, investment income and other liquid assets, including 505,000 shares of Strategy’s STRC preferred stock valued at $49.364 million. Future changes in cash, SATA shares and the dividend rate will determine whether the coverage balance persists.
