Belron is sounding out investment banks for a potential initial public offering (IPO), in what could become one of Europe’s largest listings in years. Euronext Amsterdam is the preferred venue over New York, with a possible timetable extending into 2027 and valuation estimates of €30 billion to €40 billion. The company reported first-half 2026 sales of €3.57 billion, up 4.7% from a year earlier, and pretax profit of €526.1 million, with North America driving much of the growth. Belron operates in 42 countries under brands including Carglass, Autoglass and Safelite, employing between 30,000 and 32,000 people. D’Ieteren Group, which has held majority control since 1999 and owns 50.3%, is evaluating strategic options for minority interests, while private equity firm CD&R owns 20.4%. The process remains preliminary: banks have been approached but not mandated, and no formal IPO timetable has been announced.
