AMD is positioning its next-generation products to capture more AI server and data-center spending, including the Helios AI rack, which BMO Capital Markets views as a direct competitor to NVIDIA Corp. BMO initiated coverage with an Outperform rating on Aug. 21 and expects Helios shipments to begin in September. Analysts have a Buy consensus rating and an average price forecast of $604.66. AMD remains above its 20-day, 50-day and 200-day simple moving averages, although the 20-day average remains below the 50-day average. The stock faces resistance near $517.50 and support around $463. Benzinga Edge scores show strong momentum, growth and quality but weak value, while AMD’s large ETF weightings could amplify buying or selling pressure.
