KT will launch Eeum Inside in December, embedding a one-button AI interface into services such as Zigbang, Musinsa and Danawa rather than requiring users to install a separate application. The KT consortium, comprising 16 to 17 companies including Upstage, Saltlux, Daum, Musinsa, Zigbang, EBS, Mathpresso, BC Card, NC AI and Rebellions, aims to convert a combined 60 million service touchpoints into AI channels. The system can provide product comparisons, recommendations and real-estate searches within partner services, while memory-based personalization can tailor later queries and alerts. KT says the platform will also target public-benefit notifications and, once government systems are opened, document issuance and applications. Its Token Factory AI operations platform routes tasks among five South Korean-made models and combines GPUs with domestic NPUs to improve tokens-per-minute throughput by approximately 31%. KT plans privacy safeguards, including a task force with the Personal Information Protection Commission, consortium-wide security infrastructure and a security organization equal to half the AI business division's headcount. The consortium targets 5 million monthly active users by year-end and 20 million next year, while the government plans to support up to 512 Nvidia B200 GPUs this year and operating-cost funding from 2027.
