Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee identified several potential catalysts for ETH in the coming months, including a CLARITY Act vote scheduled for mid-September, Korean investors returning to crypto assets from AI stocks, and the recurring four-year cycle. He said these developments could help establish conditions for institutional investors to make substantial cryptocurrency purchases during the final months of 2026. Bitmine announced ETH holdings of 5.96 million tokens and total crypto and cash holdings of $15.8 billion. Lee also said the ETH/BTC ratio has climbed to its highest level since Jan. 30 this year, breaking above a trendline formed after the pandemic-era peak and creating a new uptrend. He linked the move to growing recognition of Ethereum as settlement infrastructure for Wall Street’s tokenized assets and to its potential importance in Agentic AI.
