Bubblemaps is adding onchain (recorded on a blockchain) risk analysis to token discovery, screening new launches for insider clusters and launch bundles before they appear in its feed. Users will receive a score for insider concentration and can inspect wallet connections, bundled supply and related transaction patterns before trading through an integrated swap. Bundle detection identifies wallets buying within the same block or seconds of launch, while wallet clustering links addresses through funding sources and transfers. CEO and co-founder Nicolas Vaiman said the update is intended to let users discover, analyze and trade tokens on one platform. The move follows analysis of Hunter Biden's $LAPTOP token, which found that more than 80% of buyers, or over 11,500 traders, lost money after the token fell roughly 98% from its initial peak. Bubblemaps also found that 60% of the token's top holders were fresh wallets with no previous activity, funded within the prior 10 days, with most funded that day. The data was identified after the collapse and does not show that earlier access would have prevented losses. Bubblemaps says the new workflow brings wallet and supply analysis into the browsing process, while acknowledging that insider concentration and bundled purchases cannot predict whether a token will collapse.
