Macklemore said Wednesday he would donate his entire $1 million in net earnings from Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour to six organizations supporting Palestinians, days after being removed from the tour over pro-Palestinian comments. He challenged New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft to match the donation. Kraft later said Sheeran had already asked him to match Sheeran's $2 million contribution to humanitarian aid in the region. The dispute began after Macklemore performed his protest song "Hind's Hall" and said "Free Palestine" at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The Messina Touring Group said Macklemore's remaining support dates were canceled because multiple venues would not allow the shows to proceed with him on the lineup. Sheeran said the promoter, not he, made the decision. Several supporting acts, including Beoga, Aaron Rowe, Lukas Graham and Finneas, announced departures or withdrawals, although Graham and Rowe remained listed as special guests on the tour website as of Wednesday.
