Huawei Technologies will launch two artificial-intelligence chips in 2027, rotating chairman David Wang said on Thursday. The company plans to introduce the 960DT in the first quarter and the Ascend 960PR in the third quarter. Wang said Huawei’s UnifiedBus technology, a chip interconnection system, would support the next generation of large AI computing systems by connecting many chips to operate together. Huawei has shipped more than 1,000 such systems to over 370 customers.
