NOWPayments published six months of enterprise payout data comparing TRON, BNB Smart Chain, Solana, Bitcoin and Ethereum across speed, transaction volume and cost efficiency. Solana recorded the fastest average payout time at 1 minute and 45 seconds, while TRON carried 43.69% of monetary volume and BNB Smart Chain handled 48.23% of individual transactions. Together, the five networks represented 94.04% of payout volume and 77.84% of payout transactions in the dataset. BNB Smart Chain’s larger transaction share but smaller 21.75% volume share indicates a higher-frequency, lower-value payout pattern, while the average TRON payout was approximately 6.2 times larger. Ethereum ranked third by volume at 18.84%, followed by Bitcoin at 6.68% and Solana at 3.08%. Bitcoin averaged 2:53 per payout, TRON 3:08, BNB Smart Chain 3:13 and Ethereum 5:56; the difference between the fastest and slowest networks was 4 minutes and 11 seconds. NOWPayments said the findings are a starting point rather than a universal network recommendation. Kate Lifshits, Commercial Director at NOWPayments, said businesses should select infrastructure based on whether their payout flow prioritizes value, frequency, speed or cost. For cost-sensitive transfers, the company promotes payouts to ChangeNOW Pro wallets without network or service fees within the ecosystem. NOWPayments says its platform supports payments, mass payouts, stablecoin treasury management and global digital asset operations across more than 350 cryptocurrencies and over 30 stablecoins.
