Crypto market rises as AI sector gains 9.66% and Bitcoin tops $87,000

The crypto market rose broadly, led by strong gains in AI-related assets.
AI assets gained 9.66%, while Bitcoin rose 5.31% and topped $87,000.
Bittensor, Akedo and Fetch.ai gained 18.97%, 13.63% and 14.01%, respectively.

The cryptocurrency market rose across the board on Sept. 22, according to SoSoValue data, with the AI sector advancing 9.66% over 24 hours. Bittensor (TAO) gained 18.97%, Akedo (AKE) rose 13.63% and Fetch.ai (FET) climbed 14.01%. Bitcoin (BTC) increased 5.31% and broke above $87,000 during the session, while Ethereum (ETH) added 2.63% to surpass $2,700. Among sector indexes, MAG7.ssi rose 4.54%, DEFI.ssi edged up 0.01% and MEME.ssi advanced 11.08%.
