BitMine added 27,562 ETH during the week ending September 21, a purchase worth roughly $74 million at approximately $2,688 per token. The company also transferred 12,500 ETH from Kraken, valued at about $34.6 million, as part of its accumulation strategy. Its total holdings reached 5,983,940 ETH, worth approximately $16.43 billion and equal to about 4.9% of Ethereum’s total available supply of 122.1 million ETH. BitMine is pursuing its Alchemy of 5% goal and had staked 5,067,309 ETH as of September 20, representing roughly 85% of its holdings. Staking (locking crypto to earn rewards) generated a 7-day annualized yield of 2.62%, implying projected annualized revenue of about $357 million. If all its ETH were staked through the MAVAN platform and staking partners at the same yield, rewards could reach approximately $421 million. ETH gained about 65.2% since June 30, outperforming Solana, Bitcoin and the S&P 500 over the cited period. Tom Lee said the third-quarter performance could precede a stronger move in the fourth quarter of 2026. BMNR shares traded at $28.25, up 8.84% in one session, ranking 100th among 5,704 U.S.-listed stocks. BitMine also replaced its 10-year staking agreement with Ethereum Tower with a deal with American Validator that cuts the revenue-sharing fee to 1.50% of staking rewards.
