Bitget has launched a recovery bounty program offering a 5% reward for helping freeze attackers' funds and another 5% for successfully recovering them. CEO Gracy Chen urged exchanges, security researchers and on-chain investigators to participate, while thanking Circle and Tether for quickly freezing assets linked to the attack. Circle and Tether froze 218,023 USDT and 99,990 USDC, worth about $318,000 in total, in related addresses. Bitget said the attack caused approximately $351.6 million in losses after attackers compromised a wallet service's backend, falsified transfer information and triggered an authorization-signing workflow; the company said a private-key leak had been ruled out.
