Bitget is strengthening its security framework after a recent security incident, Wu Blockchain reported. The exchange has overhauled permissions for highly sensitive systems, introduced multi-step approvals for critical tasks and plans independent verification for every withdrawal request. It will also temporarily suspend external security functions linked to the incident until recovery work is complete, while revoking and reissuing all existing internal system credentials.
