EastPoint: Seoul 2026 concluded on September 28 in Seoul after bringing together more than 600 figures from the global digital-asset and financial sectors, including more than 270 institutional decision-makers from South Korea and overseas. Co-hosted by Hashed, Bloomingbit and The Korea Economic Daily, the second annual private Web3 conference focused on how institutional investment is reshaping digital assets. Discussions covered tokenization (putting traditional assets on blockchain), stablecoins (crypto tokens designed to track fiat currencies), on-chain capital markets, digital payments, real-world assets (RWA) and digital-asset custody. Speakers from major financial firms, asset managers, payment companies and policy institutions examined regulation, infrastructure and business cooperation, while private roundtables addressed practical institutional challenges. Hashed Chief Executive Officer Kim Seo-joon said the sector must now demonstrate sustainability beyond its early proof-of-concept phase, while Bloomingbit Chief Executive Officer Kim San-ha said EastPoint would continue developing as a platform connecting policy, capital and technology in domestic and overseas markets.
