Bitget’s suspected ETH hot wallet fell from 30,000 to 25,000 after withdrawals opened

Bitget opened ETH withdrawals, after which its suspected withdrawal hot wallet lost ETH.
30,000 ETH fell to about 25,000 ETH within half an hour of withdrawals opening.
The wallet later received ETH and exceeded its pre-opening balance.

Bitget’s suspected ETH withdrawal hot wallet (a wallet used for routine customer transfers), identified as 0xED9…18771, saw its balance drop from 30,000 ETH to about 25,000 ETH within 30 minutes of withdrawals opening. ETH subsequently flowed back into the address, leaving its balance slightly higher than before withdrawals were enabled, according to on-chain analyst Ai Yi as reported by Odaily.
