Bitcoin analyst and CappThesis founder Frank Cappelleri says the cryptocurrency’s current chart resembles its 2022-2023 recovery, when a roughly 70% decline preceded a major breakout and a 400% gain. He is not forecasting another 400% return, but believes a similar technical foundation could eventually take Bitcoin to new highs. Bitcoin was trading near $84,000, up just over 1% in 24 hours, about 10% over 14 days and 7% over 30 days, but down 27% year over year. Its third-quarter gain was about 42%, the strongest Q3 performance since 2017. Market data also show wallets holding 10 to 10,000 BTC added 41,025 BTC in 10 days, while BIT Research places the True Market Mean (estimated average holder cost) near $76,900 and outlines a $185,000 to $215,000 bullish scenario. Ali Martinez highlighted a conflicting historical pattern: Bitcoin declined after each of the four previous U.S. midterm elections, with losses ranging from 27% to 72%.
