TCW Funds highlighted Envista Holdings Corporation (NYSE:NVST) as a newly added position in the second-quarter 2026 investor letter for the TCW Relative Value Mid Cap Fund. The fund returned 14.10% in the quarter, ahead of the Index's 13.40%, as equities recovered from first-quarter lows and the S&P 500 reached record highs. Envista closed at $23.47 on September 30, 2026, giving it a $3.77 billion market capitalization, after gaining 8.11% year to date within a 52-week range of $18.77 to $30.42. TCW cited Envista's dental brands, Japanese expansion of its Spark clear aligner system, and a restructuring program focused on growth, operations and people. The firm said improving dental demand and leaner operations could improve margins, earnings and cash flow over the next few years. TCW also warned that elevated valuations and narrow margins for error leave markets sensitive to policy and earnings, while artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure and energy-transition themes remain supportive and labor and consumer concerns may be offset by OBBB-related stimulus.
