Pomerantz LLP said a class action lawsuit has been filed against PROCEPT BioRobotics Corporation, alleging securities fraud or other unlawful business practices, and that investors who purchased or otherwise acquired Procept securities during the Class Period have until September 22, 2026 to seek appointment as Lead Plaintiff. The filing points to a series of disclosures between August 2025 and February 2026, including weaker-than-expected handpiece sales, shipment guidance below consensus estimates, a 1,000-unit cut in annual handpiece sales guidance to 52,000 units and admissions tied to excess customer inventory. Pomerantz said those developments were followed by stock declines of approximately 16%, more than 10% and more than 18% over separate two-day trading periods as Procept disclosed cumulative excess field inventory of more than 10,000 units and a drop in U.S. quarterly handpiece unit sales to 9,400 from 13,225 in the prior quarter.
